A World to Travel was born in 2012 as a passion project dedicated to sharing stories, travel tips, and photography from around the world. Over the years, it has evolved alongside us, growing into a space where we document not just places but also a way of life—one that values simplicity, meaningful connections, and responsible exploration.
Life has changed in the last decade. We are now a family of three, and our approach to travel has shifted. Gone are the days of back-to-back festivals and nightly movie marathons. Instead, we’ve embraced a slower, more intentional way of experiencing the world. The pandemic, parenthood, and the ever-changing digital landscape—including the rise of AI in content creation—have made us rethink what truly matters.
Slowing down, minimizing distractions, and focusing on the essentials have become key to how we live and travel. We believe that in a world of constant noise and fast-paced everything, stepping back is the best way to reconnect—with the world, with others, and with ourselves. And that’s exactly what we try to share here: the beauty of a less hurried life and the lessons we learn along the way.

Inma is the driving force behind A World to Travel.
A lifelong traveler and storyteller, Inma has spent the last 20+ years exploring over 60 countries. From living and working in nine different places to leading group tours and freelancing remotely, travel has shaped every part of her life. Passionate about photography, sustainability, and creative projects, she’s always looking for new ways to share her experiences with the world.
While she once thrived on adrenaline-fueled adventures such as half-a-year solo journeys and off-piste snowboarding, today she finds just as much joy in simpler things such as spending lots of time outdoors, a well-crafted piece of writing, or watching her daughter discover the world.

Jose is an engineer by training and a photographer by passion.
Jose’s love for capturing moments started during a sunset in Ibiza years ago. Since then, he’s combined his technical skills with a creative eye, documenting the world through his lens.
When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors, cooking, and playing basketball.
Already a rather seasoned traveler, our tiny bundle of joy has joined us on many adventures already, adapting seamlessly to life on the road and reminding us to see the world with fresh eyes.
A World to Travel was born in 2012, but our love for exploring started long before that.

Over the years, our travels have evolved along with us. From budget backpackers in our late teens to flashpackers in our twenties, and purpose-driven travelers during our 30s we’ve embraced different styles of travel—sometimes solo, sometimes as a couple, at times as part of larger groups, and many others leading group tours.
These days, with a little one in tow, most of our adventures fall into the family travel category, but our passion for meaningful, slow, and sustainable travel remains unchanged.
We’ve always been drawn to the road less traveled, and since we got it a few years back, our vintage motorhome has been a key part of that journey. With it, we’ve crossed 12 countries across Northern Africa and Central-Southwest Europe, savoring the freedom and simplicity it offers.

While hiking, cycling, sailing, and train travel will always be some of our preferred ways to explore, van life has become a very good alternative—one that aligns with our commitment to slowing down and having a minimal impact, thanks to solar panels, near-zero water waste, and a mindful, self-sufficient setup.

But beyond the mode of transport, what truly matters to us is how travel allows us to keep learning and overall reconnecting—with the world, with others, and with ourselves. The past few years, shaped by global changes and personal growth, have reminded us of the importance of taking things easy, simplifying, and focusing on what truly matters. That’s the essence of A World to Travel today.

“Hello there!
Firstly, thank you so much for the excellent resources over the past few months since I’ve started reading your blog. Being an adventure traveler myself, I greatly appreciate people who share their experiences and learnings to help others.
Secondly, I wanted to reach out to ask if I can give back to the community by contributing a guest post from my adventures. Being an avid reader, I feel I can come up with something useful which your other readers would value. I do not guest post a lot, as I only like to do it when I feel I can produce value, but for your reference, one guest post of mine is on Backpacking & Diving in Indonesia on e-tramping.com. I also write on and off on blog.alienadv.com
I currently have a few ideas. If you’d be interested or perhaps discussing other ideas for posts I could write, I would be glad to do so!
Thanks and Keep adventuring!
Ankit”
Can you send us an email, please?
